Postpartum Support
Slow. Warm. Held.
The weeks after birth are a huge transition — for your body, your nervous system, your relationships and your sense of self.
And while so much attention naturally turns towards your new baby, I believe the mother needs mothering too.
My postpartum care is about creating space for you to recover, rest and find your way into this new chapter without the expectation that you should already know what you’re doing.
That might mean feeding support, nourishing food, holding your baby while you sleep or shower, helping you understand what’s normal, tending to your recovering body, or simply sitting beside you while you talk through how it all feels.
There is no one way postpartum should look.
My role is to meet you where you are — bringing calm, practical hands, reassurance and care so that you can slow down, stay warm and be held while you learn to hold your baby.
This might be for you if…
You want your postpartum to feel slower, softer and more supported — with space to recover as well as care for your baby.
You’d like practical help without feeling that someone is taking over your home or telling you how things should be done.
You want support with feeding, recovery, sleep or newborn care, alongside someone who can reassure you about what’s normal and help you find additional support when needed.
You want nourishing food, an extra pair of hands, someone to hold your baby while you rest — or simply someone checking in on you, too.
Or perhaps you don’t know exactly what you’ll need yet. You just know you don’t want to do those early weeks alone.

How
Support
can look
Every family needs something different, and that can change from one visit to the next.
Some days you might need to talk through feeding or your birth. Another day, the most helpful thing I can do might be make you lunch, put a wash on and hold your baby while you sleep.
My support can include:
• Feeding and newborn-care support
• Emotional support and space to process your birth
• Recovery, rest and postpartum wellbeing
• Nourishing meals, snacks and drinks
• Holding and caring for your baby while you rest, shower or sleep
• Light practical help around the home
• Supporting older siblings as everyone adjusts
• Babywearing, settling and understanding your baby’s cues
• Helping you create rhythms that work for your family
• Signposting to trusted feeding, pelvic-health, osteopathy or other specialist support when needed
It isn’t about arriving with an agenda or creating another list of things you should be doing.
I come in, see where you are that day, and support what you need.

Ways we
can work
together
Postpartum care can be as little or as much as you need. Some families want a few supportive visits; others want regular care woven through their first weeks together.
Day Support
Time for you to rest, recover and find your feet while I support you, your baby and the practical rhythm of home.
6 hours — £300
8 hours — £370
Shorter or regular blocks of care can also be arranged, and I can create a more personal package if you’d like ongoing support.
Night Support
A calm extra pair of hands through the night, supporting feeding and baby care while protecting as much rest as possible for you.
10pm–6am — £400
9pm–7am — £450
How the night looks will always depend on how you’re feeding and what feels right for your family — the aim is never to separate you unnecessarily from your baby, but to support everyone to get the most rest possible.
40 Days — A Softer Beginning
Across many cultures, the first weeks after birth have traditionally been treated as a time for the mother to be cared for — kept warm, nourished and protected while her body heals and she gets to know her baby.
My 40 Days support is inspired by that idea.
Not a set of rules for how postpartum should look, but permission to go more slowly than the world around you might expect.
Across your first six weeks, I become a familiar pair of hands in your home — supporting feeding and recovery, making nourishing food, caring for your baby while you rest, helping with the practical things that make the day feel lighter and creating space for you to find your own rhythm as a mother.
The care evolves with you. What you need in week one may be completely different by week five.
The intention stays the same:
Keep you nourished.
Keep you supported.
Give you space to recover.
Help you trust yourself.

Feeding Support
However you choose to feed your baby, you deserve support without pressure or judgement.
I can help you understand early feeding cues, positioning and attachment, normal newborn feeding patterns, expressing, bottles or combination feeding, and help you work through some of the common questions that arise in those first weeks.
Sometimes feeding needs more specialist support. If something sits outside my scope, I’ll help you recognise that early and connect you with trusted lactation or feeding professionals rather than leaving you trying to work it out alone.
Nourishing the Mother
Postpartum nourishment is about more than simply remembering to eat.
Your body has grown and birthed a baby and is now healing, regulating hormones and potentially producing milk — all while your sleep and usual rhythms have completely changed.
I love bringing warmth into postpartum care: simple nourishing food, warming drinks, rest, baths, gentle touch and creating an environment that encourages your body to soften rather than constantly push through.
Depending on what you need, we might also explore simple postpartum practices such as sitz baths, belly wrapping, gentle massage or restorative movement.
Nothing is prescribed and nothing is another thing you have to achieve.
They are simply ways we can tend to you while you recover.
Nights That Feel Supported
Night support isn’t simply about someone taking your baby away so you can sleep.
It’s about looking at how the whole night can work more gently.
Depending on how you’re feeding and what feels right for you, I can support with settling, nappy changes, winding, bringing your baby to you for feeds, bottle feeds where appropriate, washing and preparing feeding equipment, and helping everyone return to rest afterwards.
We’ll find a rhythm that protects your rest while keeping you connected to your baby and supporting the way you have chosen to feed.
Finding Your Feet
Postpartum changes as the weeks pass.
At first, support might look like keeping you in bed, bringing food and helping you feed your baby.
A few weeks later, it might look like helping you feel confident using your sling, getting outside together, finding a local baby group or simply giving you the reassurance to take those first steps into the world with your baby.
My role isn’t to make you dependent on support.
It’s to walk alongside you while you find your own confidence, rhythms and way of doing things — and gradually need me less.
Your Village
No one person can or should be everything a new family needs.Over many years working with pregnant and postpartum families in London, I’ve built a trusted network of practitioners and support around me.
If you need something beyond my role, I can help connect you with the right people — whether that’s specialist feeding support, pelvic-health physiotherapy, osteopathy, bodywork, mental-health support, baby groups or other local services.
Let’s Talk About What You Need
You don’t need to know exactly what your postpartum will look like before your baby arrives.
And if your baby is already here, you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Tell me a little about where you are, when your baby is due or was born and what kind of support you’re imagining.
We can talk through what might be most useful — whether that’s a handful of hours, regular days or nights, my 40 Days support, or something shaped specifically around your family.
